Let's play some basketball! Yeah!" Similarly to Brita, she shortened her name to Jan for Drag Race, adding that she loves Jan Brady from the sitcom "The Brady Bunch." It is revealed in a BuzzFeed video that she decided on Jan Sport because not only does she think it is a funny reference to the brand of backpacks, but because it reflects her love of sports, such as football, hockey, and soccer. 7.3.1 RuPaul's Drag Race All Stars Season 6 Looks.7.3 RuPaul's Drag Race All Stars Season 6.7.2 RuPaul's Drag Race Bring Back My Ghouls.7.1.1 RuPaul's Drag Race Season 12 Looks.4.2 RuPaul's Drag Race All Stars Season 6.That's the way I work, that's the way I live my life, and that is something that I put into my artwork. I think it's a great reminder that you should never stop working hard or give up because anything is attainable. But something I did in the competition, that I think is really relatable to any person who has ever lived on this planet, is I was knocked down early, and I had to really, really rebuild myself from the inside out to then be standing as tall as I ever have at the end. The four of us represent different communities, and we come from different walks of life. What's most important for you moving forward? Everyone who leaves that part of town, when you come home, you have to go to Soliz. Right across from (Dulles High School) there is a really tiny taco restaurant, and it's called Soliz Casa de Tacos. Is there anything Houston-centric you have to visit when you're here? My go-tos that would really bring my drag into the character and the process, I would love to play the title role in "Hedwig and the Angry Inch." I would love to play King George III in "Hamilton." I think that would be so fun. If we wanna talk about all time, my favorite musical is "Hair." I would love to play Berger. I was laying the foundation for my drag, that's for sure. I imagine it was quite the culture shock. From the age of about ten until 18, when I left for college, I was living in Sugar Land. I usually say that I grew up half in the U.K. It just so happened that Houston had a place for us. My dad wanted to branch out and start a bigger life for us, so he wanted to move to America. We talked Houston roots and never giving up. She may not have taken the crown, but Rosé has other stages in mind for the future. Rosé was recently back home for dad's birthday and a quick show before the "Drag Race" Season 13 finale. The family immigrated from Scotland and still calls the Sugar Land area home. McCorkell attended Dulles High School and was a favorite at the Tommy Tune Awards. Though she's credited as a New York queen, Rosé, whose real name is Ross McCorkell, spent ages 10-18 in the Houston area. But that's a story for another day (again). "RuPaul's Drag Race," we've often bemoaned, has yet to cast a Houston queen.
